The kids and I are spending some time at my parents in Missouri while Jake stays in NY to study for the bar. To the outside onlooker, it may appear that I've packed up the kids and left Jake...but I would never let him off that easy!! :) No, quite the contrary...we miss him desperately and would give just about anything to be there with him...but we're trying to ensure he passes the bar. At this point, that means he needs to devote a lot of time and energy to studying and the kids and I aren't really conducive to this process. Granted, we may bring a lot of excitement and happiness, but there's always a cloud of activity surrounding our energetic kids and it can sometimes cloud the mind. Jake will join us here for the 4th of July and we'll return to NYC shortly thereafter.
